
Our youth programs are designed to help kids and teens build strength, confidence, and real athletic ability through structured, age appropriate training. Located in the 33155 area of West Miami / Westchester, near Tropical Park and A.D. Barnes Park, Team Soul serves local families looking for a coach led fitness program for kids and teens that is safe, challenging, and built around proper guidance.
Our approach blends strength training, functional fitness, and bodyweight mastery while aiming to be accessible to all and meet each child where they are.
Team Soul Youth Fitness
Our Youth Fitness track introduces students to important movement patterns, such as squatting, hinging, pushing, and pulling through general strength and conditioning training. Our classes include a combination of these patterns through a mix of bodyweight movements and dumbbells. Many of these exercises emphasize coordination and control with the goal of helping students become better, safer, and more comfortable movers.
With ages ranging from 6–12 years old, this program is perfect for elementary school and middle school students looking to exercise safely while still challenging themselves. It’s also a great fit for homeschool families looking for a structured fitness program where kids can build strength, confidence, discipline, and healthy habits.
Teen Strength & Conditioning
Our Teen Strength & Conditioning program builds on these fundamentals with a more structured strength approach. Meant for middle school and high school students between 13–16 years old, this program emphasizes training methods focused on building strength and muscle while maintaining proper mechanics and good movement quality. By prioritizing stability, balance, and proper mechanics, our coaches ensure that students learn how to move safely while still challenging themselves.
These sessions are meant for teens at any level, focused on the average student rather than only the most advanced. Whether a teen is new to training or looking to improve performance for school sports, athletics, or general fitness, they’ll be coached at an appropriate level with clear guidance and support.
Beyond the Gym
Beyond the workouts, we incorporate weekly topics to help students learn about areas such as nutrition, discipline, and other healthy habits. We try to give them tools that will reinforce healthy lifestyles and help them find long-term success, both inside and outside the gym.
